Configuration Settings

The configuration tab allows you to set up your Make API integration. These settings are essential for connecting Bitmule to your Make account.

Required Settings

API Key

  • Your Make API key is required for authentication
  • Must be a valid Make API key with appropriate permissions
  • Will be securely stored and encrypted
  • Click the pencil icon to edit, then click the check mark to save
  • For security, the API key is masked after saving

Base URL

  • The Make API base URL for your account
  • Depends on your Make account's region
  • Click the pencil icon to edit, then click the check mark to save

Auto-Detected Settings

Organization ID

  • Automatically detected when you enter a valid API key and base URL
  • Identifies your Make organization
  • Can be manually edited if needed
  • Click the pencil icon to edit if you need to change it

Team ID

  • Automatically detected when you enter a valid API key and base URL
  • Identifies your Make team
  • Can be manually edited if needed
  • Click the pencil icon to edit if you need to change it

Each setting has a help icon (?) that links to detailed documentation about that setting. Click these icons to:

  • View step-by-step guides for each setting
  • Learn how to generate an API key with the right permissions
  • Find your correct base URL based on region
  • Understand organization and team settings

Security Notes

  • API keys are encrypted before storage
  • Sensitive data is masked in the interface
  • All connections use HTTPS
  • Failed attempts are rate-limited
  • Only grant the minimum required scopes listed above
